Dependant Cohabitation documents

Post by prince99 » Fri Feb 28, 2020 7:51 pm

Hi,
I received my ilr under Tier2 (general) 5 yr route.
Now my wife n child born outside UK are applying for ilr.
Can someone help me with few things?
1. Only have council tax documents with our names together& She only got bank statements n BT bill under her name would they suffice?
2. Can I use council tax documents her name is spelled wrong (by only one alphabet 'i' instead of L)?
3. Should I specify that I receive child benefits (section where it asks do you or our partner claim benefits)?
4. Should she state her absences (6months) in 2017 ?

Thanks for any replies.

Letters addressed jointly or in each name at the same address should suffice.

Thanks Amber.
Is there any specific requirement on how many different sources of address proof I need to send?
Can you please let me know if can mention about the child benefits which I am claiming but not my wife?

Thanks Zimba.
1.For public funds, my wife declared yes (as I am claiming child benefits). In the next section She specifoed 0 for amount she get and xxx for partner. Should I include letter the same saying?

Also, what should my wife answer for below question?
2.Does the account with the bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide you financial support?

Thanks

Proof of stay

Post by prince99 » Thu Mar 12, 2020 6:48 pm

Hi,
In my partner ilr application (Tier2 dependant) Set (O), it is asking for accommodation status.
My partner selected 'other' and specified jointly owned with partner'

Should yearly 'mortgage statement' and land registry from 'HM land registration' on our names suffice for proof?

Also, should I submit my ilr/passport or just scan them and upload?

Am I right in thinking that she doesn't to need specify absences?

Thanks

No evidence for accomodation status. NO original document is submitted :!: :!:
She does not need to specify absences when her last visa was issued before 11 Jan 2018
