Tier 2 general, main, dependent ILR qualification period

Post by Mana uppu » Thu Mar 19, 2020 8:08 pm

Hi Team,

Could you please help us with below questions?
I currently hold Tier 2 general visa and valid till December 2020.
Main & dependent Entry clearance date is on: 14/04/2015 (DD/MM/YYYY)
Main applicant Arrival date: 27/04/2015(DD/MM/YYYY) and Employment start date is on: 04/05/2015(DD/MM/YYYY)
But Dependent arrival date: 19/07/2015(DD/MM/YYYY)
Note: there is 1 week gap between employments while switching (sponsor 1 to sponsor 2)
Could you please help me when can me and my dependent eligible for ILR?
Please let me know in case any questions?
Thanks in advance.

Mana

Thank you very much for your prompt reply :)

In that case we will be finishing 5 years qualifying period on 13th April 2020.
As per your previous other posts we can apply 28 days before completing 5 years.

Could you please also clarify me that can we can go ahead and apply any time after 17th March 2020? If not what will be the best date?

Mana

Could anyone please reply to my above query?

I read some thing like if days between entry clearance , date of entry if below 90 days then only you can considere enrty clearance otherwise date of entry for qualification preiod.

Mana

Thanks for the information.

I have applyed on 25th march and appoved :)

Still I am not sure to apply for my dependent that he came to uk after 94 days of visa issue date.

and I been advised that wait for another 2 months that mean 28 days before 5years (arival date insted entry clearance)

Could you please provide me list of documents need to provide at the time of my dependent application?

Note: I dont have any bills as my rent including bills.

Mana

How many times does this need to be repeated? It makes no difference if your spouse came after 94 days!!!

You need evidence for every 3 to 4 months from 3 to 6 sources for the last two years in both your names.
