Hi,

I have been living in the UK since 10th October 2010 with Tier 2 (ICT) visa. Please can you assist with the following questions due to COVID-19 situation?

1. I am thinking to switch from ICT to Tier 2 Dependent visa, will it reset the counter for 10-year ILR route?

2. When I will be eligible to apply for 10-year ILR?

3. I am employed in a service company. Due to the global situation, my current work contract with the client is ending by April. However, I have about 65 days holidays which I can avail in my service company to continue staying in the UK with Loss of Pay until the situation gets better. Can you advise if this makes any difference for 10-year ILR?

Thanks for your help!

1.No
2.28 days prior to the 10th anniversary of your date of UK entry
3.As long as you do not breach your visa conditions should be fine. However any lengthy LOP days may need to be updated by the employer to HO
