Hi all,

I entered in the UK on 26th September 2010 on Tier 2 ICT long term category visa issue date was 05 Sept 2010.
under which I have renewed my visas before expiry. My next visa expiry date is August 2021.

I will be eligible for ILR layer this year via 10 year route. I wanted to check when will I be eligible for applying. Is it 28 days prior to 10 years after my entry to the UK (26th Sept 2020 minus 28 days) or will it count back from visa issue date (05th September 2020 minus 28 days?).

Regards,
Bansals

Thanks for reply.. what a coincidence.. we can think we are lucky that this visa can be extended beyond 5 years or unlucky that it took 10 long years.. I was naive back and didn't check the options available and just did what HR said.. Oh well all's well that ends well.

Are you applying on your own or via your company?

Cheers,
