Application Date (Set(M)) Confusion

Apologies if this is repetitive but I have looked everywhere for a definitive answer and cannot find the exact guidance on gov.uk or anywhere.
I will be applying for SET(M) this summer, and I am trying to find out the earliest I can submit the new online application (all change since my last FLR(M)).
I have seen most places say 28 days prior to the 5 year completion (This would be the 1 August 2020) but others say 28 days prior to the end of the current leave status. My BRP is valid until the 28 August 2020, giving me 28 days beyond my 5 years/60 months.
I was already living in the UK as a student when I got my first FLR(M) so my leave to remain date and start of 5 years is the same. Perhaps this is different to others, but having the extra 28 days on my BRP makes me think it is there for a reason.
I would be extremely appreciative if someone could just confirm if it is 28 days prior to completion of 60 months, or 28 days prior to the end of your current leave status. Many thanks.

The 28 days extra is normal.
You can apply for ilr no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date your FLR M visa was issued. OR it can also be before your visa expires.

So the 28 extra is just a helpful addition, interesting.
Sounds like I can apply from the 4 July 2020, which hopefully gives me plenty of time to get my biometrics appointment booked in.
Thank you very much for your clarification.
Set(M) Financial Entries

Hi,
If someone could just let me know if I am being completely stupid; I was entering all the financial information and it seems I can only enter it for either myself or my spouse? Is this how it is for everyone, or is this because it is already over the threshold? On the old FLR(M) paper applications you could enter both? I don't mind only entering one; I just felt a bit like I was missing something on the application.
Many thanks!

Because I couldn't remember my username so I couldn't retrieve my password which I had also forgotten. Neither email I have worked to reset my password.

I am also having this problem with this new online form. My partner has income but not enough to rely completely on it. My income is high enough but it feels wrong not putting their income at all - they are not a dependant. Have you submitted yet / what have you done?

If you have a question, please start your own topic. It is considered rude to tag onto other members topics and creates confusion.
Can you also please post in the link below to change your username. It is confusing to have a username almost identical to that of a moderator.

Yes, once Zimba put my old username above, I was reminded of it and therefore I could get a new password.
Sorry, I'm not sure why I am being treated like I did something wrong? I tried for ages to find my old account and I couldn't get anything to reset/remind me of my username or password so made a new account.
If you need to combine them that's fine. I don't really know how these boards work technically.
Could I please get an answer to my question if anyone has it? Many thanks.

You cannot have multiple accounts on the forum, your original account is now deactivated.
It is 28 days prior to completing the qualifying period of 5 years, counting from the date your family visa was first granted. Your visa expiry date is irrelevant
