PBS Dependant child starting a job before ILR decision?

Hello,

I am a PBS dependant child above 18. My ILR Set(O) application was submitted in April, and it is still stuck. At the time of application I was studying in university supported by my family, who all got their ILR last year (main applicant was Tier 2). I have two questions:

1. As proof of dependence, I had provided a student status certificate from my university, as I was not living at home. Since I graduated in June, this certificate is no longer valid - will this be a problem? (i.e it clearly shows that my course has ended in June).

2. I have also got a job offer now. If I become employed I would no longer be financially dependent. Would this cause any problem for the ILR requirements? Is it necessary to maintain dependence by living with my family?

Any advice will be useful. Many thanks.

‘Must not be leading an independent life’ or ‘is not leading an independent life’ means that the applicant does not have a partner (as defined in paragraph GEN.1.2. of Appendix FM), is living with their parents (except where they are at boarding school, college or university as part of their full-time education), is not employed fulltime (unless aged 18 years or over), is wholly or mainly dependent upon their parents for financial support (unless aged 18 years or over), and is wholly or mainly dependent upon their parents for emotional support.
