Hi, I received my ILR through Tier2 route few months back. I am currently with the same employer who had sponsored me for Tier2, in a permanent role. I did not apply for my spouse and kids ILR along with me, although they were eligible. I am now thinking to switch jobs, but the new role is a 12 month contract role. My question is - when I apply for their ILR in a few months time, will my temp role have any detrimental impact on their application?

No. Your employment and employer is irrelevant to their ILR application.
