ILR eligibility if 5 years spent under 2 different visa categories

Hi

My wife has completed more than 5 years in UK, with initial 2.5 years on "Tier 2 Partner" visa and later 3 years on "Spouse/Partner" Visa category.

Does anyone know if I need to apply for ILR for her then does she qualify for ILR based on more than 5 years time spent on above 2 different visa categories? Or in this case ILR can only be issued as she need to complete total minimum 5 years on same visa category (Souse/Partner)?

Any help from experts appreciated.

She doesn't qualify for ILR. You cannot combine two different visa categories to make up 5 years for ILR.

It has to be 5 years on the Spouse (FLR-M) visa before ILR can be applied for on form SET(M).
