For the fresh application iam posting for SetLR, i have a small dubt for the below question

Are you part of any social group or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years?

as per my current status, i planned to write like below, please let me know is it correct way of expressing or do i need to mention differently

i dont have any social groups, i didn't get a chance to spend in the cultural ties outside of UK since i have been in UK for 10 years. completely occupied with 3 children and wife. Also professional work in IT makes me complete busy.

how about bank statemnets which comes in colour, utility bulb also, its logo comes in colour letter
bank statments are soft copies,
i dont think we need to again scan the hardcopy and upload rather directly soft copy we can upload. is my understanding correct

how about passport and brp. do we need to scan in black and white/gray rather colour?

Colour is fine. Black and white is just recommended in case you need to reduce the size. I have always uploaded my documents in colour.

while filling the application for setLR i had mentioned 2018 to 2019 Home office reference 12 digit number
ideally i was supposed to give 2019 to 2021 which is previous extension visa home office reference number. by mistake i had given the 2018 to 2019 visa reference number

but in the application, it says enter any home office reference numbers

can i write one covering letter and saying i had added 2018 to 2019 home office reference which is correct.
however i would like to update you the 2019 to 2021 home office reference number which is xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx?
can i write covering letter or just ignore any home office reference number is suffice
will it give confusion if i write covering letter for latest home office reference number ?

in the application as you know i had given old home office reference number 2018 to 2019, hence i thought i can give one covering letter stating 2019 to 2021 home office reference

just wondering whether it gives confusion or better clarity

please suggest which option is better
1. if i leave as it is,(without covering letter) then i dont have opporutnity to update the latest home office reference number,
they also may think why i had given the old one which is 2018 to 2019
2. if i write covering letter, will it give any confusion for them thinking delaying of the application

However, I would like to confirm that the said answer is absolutely correct for 2018 – 2019.

I would like to add the current Home office reference for the visa March 2019 to March 2021 which is xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.

For the reference I have uploaded the scan copies of the above 2 Home office reference numbers (2018-2019 and 2019 to 2021) in the segment of proof of application in ukvcas website.

Have small query please....

as part of SETILR application for me only, i have submitted and uploaded address proof as joint bank statements me and wife, utility bills (electricity) - names of me and mywife in to address, rental agreements - joint names my wife and me, council tax joint names me and wife name pointing to same address. all proofs are joint both of me and wife names.

1. my query is do i need to submit any proof on my name alone for eg: i have credit card statement in my name only . is it better to submit one more proof or completely not required?

2. second query is on consent form, in 2nd page, its only my wife signature is requored or both names (my name and my wife to be signed). anyway in 1st page am signing as am the applicant.
as the bank statements are joint , i believe 2nd page should be sign by my wife only.?? or BOTH NAMES and signs?
3rd page anyway i dont upload as there is no financial sponsor

None of these documents are required for ilr on SET LR.

You are only required to submit your passports for 10 years, brp, English and liuk.

Why are you submitting unnecessary documents??

The checklist is generic and mostly the same for all applications regardless if route. The checklist is NOT the UKVI rules or official guidance, which is what you should follow.
