Hello

I am on Tier 2 visa (Main applicant) and my wife is on PBS dependant visa (Our visas expiring August next year) and we are both eligible to apply for ILR next week (5 years route) but I am switching employers to start a new Job in September,

May I ask two Questions please?

1- Can she apply on her own for now ? Then I apply after getting the new tier 2 Or should we apply together ? I mean is it possible for PBS dependant to get ILR before the main applicant ?

2-For how long do I need to be working with new employer before I can apply for ILR ?

Many Thanks

1. No. A PBS dependant can not get ILR unless you are granted ILR first
2. At least one month to get the salary slip.

Switch, get a new Tier 2 visa and both apply together after a month. She does not need a new visa
