Hi I am applying for ILR from Tier 2 General but i am confused on when is the earliest i can apply.

Is it 28 days before the visa stamped on my passport or 28 days before i entered the UK on tier 2. I thought it was the former but i just called UKVI call center and they said it is 28 days before i entered the UK. But they could be right because In th ILR Set O form it does mention the date when you first entered the UK on which you will be basing your application. However, before filling this form i had checked at many places and forums that it is 28 days before the visa stamp. I am confused and don't want to make this mistake else my application may be rejected.
My tier 2 visa was stamped on 09/11/2014 but i entered Uk on 01/01/2015.
Any help in clarification would be appreciated.

This one. The gap between entry clearance stamp date and entry to the UK will count towards the absence limit.

But they could be right because In th ILR Set O form it does mention the date when you first entered the UK on which you will be basing your application.

This question is the actual date you entered. It is different to the date you qualify to apply based on initial visa issue date. HO do know the rules.

When I was filling the SET O form it asked me for wife’s COS number. Why do they need that if she is already on ILR? Am I filling in the right form as there is also a SET M. It’s a bit confusing. Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Set M is not the correct form based on your circumstances. To keep moving the online Set O form maybe putting same previous Cos number will work.

That is normal. SET(O) is the correct form

Hi I have a question regarding financials for ILR dependant.

I am the dependant and the main applicant and i am applying along with my 2 children. I currently am the sole director of a ltd company taking dividend and salary.

My wife has already received the ILR and is the sponsor. She recently started working for a new company ( a month ago) Salary is 44k. Her previous was 36K for a year + -which is above the requirement. We can provide all salary slips / back documents etc.


My question is can i just apply using my wifes current salary and previous employers one year pay slip, bank statements, letter etc
OR
Do i need to show my company financial documents as well. Is it mandatory to show?

The reason is the documents for me are very complicated and and if there is any slight error which i am not aware of i have heard of cases being refused.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

ILR for PBS dependants has NO financial requirement whatsoever. No need for any of those.

It says no public funds on the application but my wife who is already on ILR claimed it after she got her ILR. But will it be any problem?

I am submitting documents for me and my 2 children through PBS dependant 5 Year ILR Route. Do I need to scan each page of my passport to show to and from UK Travel or only the UK Visa and/ or BRP? Thank you in advance.

You need to scan all passport biometric pages and stamped passport pages. Your UK visa/BRP is not proof of your travel.

Thanks but i thought for PBS dependant we dont have to show proof of travel which means absences from UK. So why do i need to show each stamped page. For eg i have trips to India and back and France and back do i need to show all the stamps?

You need to scan all your stamped pages, regardless of which countries you visited.

There is no harm in including the children's stamped pages. Up to you if you wish to exclude them, but they are also evidence of residence.

For a document that you have in your possession not that you are requesting it from an organisation or the other, why the need for back and forth whether to scan it or not? The moderator has provided you guidance, it is left for you to take it or not.
