Could you please let me know if Someone is or was in similar situation. My asylum application is still pending with HO and now my 10 years are completing in next month and i am going to apply for 10 year route ILR as i have no gaps and according to my SAR my continued period is still going on. Now i need my passport to sit in Life in UK test. If I submit request to HO to send me my passport to sit in test do I have to withdraw my asylum application or what?? By withdrawing, the cycle will be broken?? Or HO will send me passport without affecting on my case...?? This os so confusing can someone please help

Tax and ILR

If anyone can help please

I recieved the letter from HMRC back in 2016 stating that i have paid too little tax for year 2015-16.

I stopped working in 2016 i cannot remember the exact month but for sure It was before June 2018. After that I did not work till present.

My circumstances changed drastically in 2018 and I had to apply for asylum. Now in 2 days time my 10 years in UK will be completing and I intend to apply for ILR.

Would this tax issue would this be considered as tax envasion??
Also I was not paid the last salary by my employer. What can I do in this situation.

Since the UKVI and HMRC share their data so better to clear your all outstanding taxes. If you had some trade union then must have spoken to them to recover your wages but it won't affect your ILR as you aren't required to show any financial threshold.
