Hi Everyone,
Can someone please sense check my dates for applying for IRL. I've been looking at dates for so long I am second guessing myself!
Below is my timeline:
Early February 2015: Entered UK on Tier 5 Visa (Internship visa)
24 October 2015: Moved to my first Spouse Visa (I was already in the UK. My same day appointment was on this day and this is also the day my first residence card is valid from.
24 April 2018: First residence card expires
31 May 2018: Second residence card is valid from
19 December 2020: Second residence card expires.
I believe I can submit my application from 30 September 2020 up until 19 December 2020 - is that correct? Date of Entry + 5 Years - 28 days. Not sure why I have such a long gap!
Thank you!!

You can apply for ILR no sooner than within 28 days before 24th October 2020 if you meet all the requirements.

Thanks! Is it normal to have so much extra time at the end?

Often yes as the last extension was granted some time after the last visa expiry, so it is 2.5 years from the date of approval, not tagged onto the end date of the visa expiry date before that.

Are passport photos no longer required?
I can't see this required anywhere on the checklist but just want to be 100% sure i didn't miss it?!
Thanks!

6 Months - Financial Documents

Hi All,
This is probably a simple question but as always, these applications make me question EVERYTHING!
I am applying for IRL (Set M) the first week of October. The latest payslip/bank statement would be dated 1st of October.
Would my 6 months of payslips/bank statements be from April or May? I know May-Oct is 6 months but just making sure that I don't need to include April as my 1 Oct payslip is only received right before I apply?
Thanks!

You need to submit payslips that cover your earnings for 6 full months, regardless of the date of the payslip. If applying in early October, you need to cover your pay from March to September.

Thank you

Sorry about making new threads.
I know you already confirmed my eligible date to apply but just to check, I am eligible from the date on my BRP card and not the date when I received the BRP (which was sometime in Nov.)?
