Good Afternoon,

I am a British citizen and my wife is on a 5 year route spouse visa. Initially when the visa was granted, on her residence permit card it says.
Date of Issue: 23-08-2016
Valid until: 11-06-2019
In total 2 years and 9 months.

Extension of spouse visa/date on her Residence Permit card is.
Date of issue: 22-07-2019
Vaild until: 05-02-2022
In total 2 years and 9 months.

So if i calculate from the time of issuing her visa that will be 5 years and 8 months.
Could you please clear my confusion whether she can apply for her ILR on completing her 5 years which will be on 23-08-2021 or she needs to wait for her Residence Permit card (valid until date) which is 05-02-2022 because according to UKVI rules we cannot apply for visa application 28 days before it's expiring date.

Please clear my confusion whether she can apply on 23-08-2021 or it's better to wait until 05-02-2022 ??

You haven't mentioned her date of arrival which will be the baseline in determining the eligibility, but generally the ILR can be applied after 60 months minus 28 days from the date of one's first arrival regardless of when the present visa will be expired.

If you had a query, you should have raised it at the time. Be grateful that it was a visa duration to short to qualify.

I have literally already answered this!! Was anything in my post above unclear??? The rules PERMIT her to apply within 28 days BEFORE the 5th anniversary of the date she ENTERED the UK.

Also can you please provide the home office email address where i can explain them and ask them if my wife can apply 28 days before her valid until date.

You will only get generic responses. They do not give individual advice. The 28 days rules is clearly documented and has been used successfully by many, myself included.

Also I heard that we need to show the bills on our names as a proof. My question is if she is not doing any job and not earning than how she can show her name on bills.
Our name is only on one bill which is out Council Tax rest of all bills are on my name.
Please guide me.

Except the B1 English test & LIUK test all remaining documents will be similar as were provided during the last FLRM extension.
