Mistake with minimum wage

Hello all,
I applied for ILR from under the tier entrepreneur category.
Documents and biometrics done a few days ago.
Just realised that I did not pay the correct minimum wage from 1st April 2020 to 5th April 2020.
I paid £8.51 instead of £8.72. Thereafter I started paying £9/hour.
Can this be rectified?
How do I go about it.
Many thanks

Is it only for 5 days?
How do you pay? Weekly? Monthly?
What wage rate your employee’s salary slip show?

I pay monthly.
I paid £8.51 between 1st april-5th April.
Then I started paying £9 from 6th april( when the Financial year started.
Didn't realise that minimum wage changed 1st of April, 2020 to £8.72.

What wage rate your employee’s April salary slip show (if any)?
What is the total number of hours for April?
What is the total amount paid?
What wage rate did you declare in the online form?
This is a very small error. It should not have any impact.

You can send a correction to the employee(s) concerned by the error. Just do some math and adjust.
It's a small error really. But if you fix it before your ILR is decided, you are covered in case things go wrong.
If you wait the Home Office to pick up on that then you correct it, it would be too late.

It would need to be corrected with HMRC via RTI FPS also in that case. The accountant can resubmit the RTI FPS from April 2020 but not needed really. The evidence is the RTI FPS.

Maybe you need to answer all questions what I asked previously before repeating yourself again!!

See previous replies from Cullinan. HO does no administration of tax but liase with the relevant agency to cross check information provided by applicants.

My apologies,
April payslip shows £8.51/hour from 1st April 2020 to 5th April 2020.
And then from 6th April 2020 to 30th April, 2020, I paid £9/hr.

You still did not answer all my questions.
As long as the total amount paid/number of hours is more than £8.72, which I believe would be, your good.

It's a small change but it can be held against you if your application is treated by an eagle eyes who doesn't take prisonners.
Fix now while you can. It's cheap and easy.
If they pick on that and cause you troubles, it will be too late to fix as they don't accept fixes when done after a refusal.

Hello all,
I just received an email from home office atlas to say my Ilr application has been successful. Biometrics was done on the 5th of October, 2020.
Didn't have to do anything about the wage mistake.
Had contacted my accountant who promised to have it done next week.
I guess it's not necessary anymore.
Thank you all.
Most grateful

Congratulations. Sometimes matters resolve themselves, its only normal to worry when an error not so much of your making is detected.
