ILR Application submitted and expecting Baby + visa rejected to schengen

Hi All,

1. Just submitted my application for ILR on 12th October and expecting our baby in December. If I don't get my ILR settlement before baby is born, will the baby still be automatically become as British citizen or do I need to go through all the process of registering her as citizen and pay the huge fees?

2. After visa submission, I just realised I forgot to mention that my visa application to Belgium as Tourist was rejected last year. Reason- didn't provide sufficient documents to prove my stay and my return. my application was actually reviewed by Internal Affairs in Belgium which took alot of time (4months) so all my hotel, travel and insurance bookings was outdated that is why it got rejected. When asked in the form if visa to any other country rejected, I said No because I couldn't remember this. Can you please advise if I need to do anything now? How can I let UKVCAS update on this or shall I not bother?

Many Thanks in advance.

1) Baby will be British by birth only if born after your ILR, otherwise you will have to register baby via MN1 process.

2) Not a big issue.

If I were you, then will prepare a brief covering letter pointing that error, and upload it along with other supporting documents (if the biometrics appointment hasn't yet been attended).
