FROM TIER 2 TO ILR REQUIREMENTS

Dear All,
I am on tier 2 visa with a salary of £32000. I am applying for my ILR application next year. The salary requirement for ILR is £35,800. It supposed to be increased after april 2020 but due to covid-19 it did not increase.
My questions are -
1. is it okay to increase the salary just 3 months or a month before applying for ILR? if yes, how much would you recommend?
2. what are the other requirements i should be looking for?
3. Any helpful tips ?
Thank you all in advance.

Hi,
1. Salary increase just before ILR will definitely be a red flag for a case worker.
2.

Thank you for replying back.
The link you sent me - it says only one month of payslip is required at the time of application.
What is the best way to do? When is the best time to increase the salary without raising red flag?
Can someone else also help me. I am looking for some advice here.
Please help

Is it up to you or your employer who will decide when to raise the salary & by how much?
Anyways, the sooner the better if you want to avoid the risks. Ideally around the same time other employees get the hike, i.e. appraisals/yearly increase time and not just for you.
Btw, make sure you are being paid at or above your SOC salary rate as well as ILR minimum salary, whichever is higher.

Thank you for the advice.
As we know tier 2 (general) routes are closing from 01.12.2020.
1.) What will be the requirements for ILR?
2.) Would it be the same as on today?
3.) I am applying for ILR in 2021. Do i need to inform home office to change my visa to skilled worker route vis (New VISA) before applying for ILR or shall i apply from my existing tier 2 general visa?
Please reply

Please see the link pasted. Also, it says the government has scrapped the requirement of £35800 and the enw requirement is £25600 if we apply after december 2020.
Does that mean my salary of £32000 is sufficient ?

3. You don't need to change visa category.
The other two questions I haven't read the new rules enough to advice with clarity on how it's going to be for existing visa holders.

Pension is your individual decision to opt in or out. It doesn't have any bearing on your ILR application.
