I had standard Biometric appointment on 2nd November 2020 in Birmingham.
Extension for four : Me, Spouse two kids[7yrs,2yrs].

So far i haven't got any email on decision nor any updates.
Some of my friends who applied for BRP on 3rd, 4th and 5th November got there BRP extension within 10 days.

Visa Type : General Tier 2

Any idea how i can track or know the status of my application and the reason for delay.

I noticed that thread you mentioned is more about application[ILR and Extension] submitted in month of March, April during COVID first lockdown.

My application was submitted recently in the month of November in Birmingham biometric centre. I believe the Sopra Steria UKCAS is conducting the VISA appointments these days.

Question is really about is there a way to track and know the status of the application or the reasons or delay.

I will search in other thread which you mentioned if i can find any answer.
