change from FLR(M) to 10 Years Route due to Earnings

Hi All,
Hope everyone is safe. My friend wife is due to apply for ILR based on FLR(M) 5 years route. She arrived in April 2012 in UK. But due to rule changes and husband visa, she had to switch visa category to FLR(M) in 2016 and clock was reset then for ILR.
If for any reason HO is not satisfied with their joint earnings , what can be the possible outcome?
Can HO extend her visa into another category e.g. FLR(FP)? Also if this happens , will her clock set to zero again and will she have to wait another 10 years for ILR? OR she can apply ILR(LR) in 2022 in this case?
She will complete 10 years in UK in April 2022.
