Changing job after SET(M) Submitted

Hi there,

Me and my wife recently submitted our SET(M) however i've been offered a job elsewhere.
When we submitted our application we used cat A using my salary to meet the financial requirement.
The new job would be under £18,600 a year, however combining this with my wifes salary and savings would put it over £18,600 for part 1 of category B. Part 2, do I add up the gross pay from the payslips over the last 12 months?

My main questions are:
1. How do I inform the HO of the change if I accept the new job?
2. Do I go 12 months back from the first payslip date in the new job, to show evidence that part 2 for cat B is met? (£18,600 over last 12 months)
3. I assume under cat B I can combine my wifes (over 6 months employment) with my under 6 months if take new job for part 1 of cat b meeting the £18,600?

thank you very much!

I found this form to notify of changes in circumstances after application.

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... -12-18.pdf

Combining my savings with my lower income I can satisfy part 1 of cat B. Part 2 I can also satisfy earning at least £18,600 gross annual over the last 12 months from when I would likely end up submitting the first new job payslip if it would count back from here.

Do not randomly search and assume. The rules require you to be in full-time employment on the day of the application (the day it was submitted online) If on that day you qualified under Cat A, then the application should succeed . There is nothing to tell UKVI

Thank you for your response. I wasn't certain as before posting I also saw this topic

immigration-for-family-members/changing ... 69154.html

The main difference I can see is that ours isn't from outside the EEA like that poster.
It appeared the responses there were leaning towards a need to inform them?

Thank you very much for your time on my query.

If they call my employer to check, I likely wouldn't be with them when the call is made. They would say I left on (whichever date). Would the case officer then just use that to say yes, at the time of application the sponsor was there, earning that much, so that's what I'll base the decision on, or would they then want to see my income for my new job, as they may be worried it may not continue to meet the requirement?
Does anyone have any personal experience of a similar situation?

thanks.

They will follow the rules. This is not about opinions or how people feel about it. The decision is based on what was true on the day of the application
