ILR 10 Yr Long Residence - process time for Aug vs Sep application

Post by bearbearwing212 » Fri Jan 22, 2021 8:54 pm

hi Everyone,

Just wondering any experienced solicitors who know about how home office work can shed some light on this.

Based on ~100 cases of process time post in this group and other message board. One thing I notice is:
The process time for Application submit in Sep is significantly higher than those submit in Aug
-- Aug application: the process time from application -> decision , on average 100-110 days
      -- Sep application: average 120 - 130 days, up 20 days

holiday season could be one reason. Any other factors that drive up the process time? I am curious is that increase will continue for application submit after Sep. Or will it improve after catching up from the xmas season

Thanks and much appreciate your thoughts and feedback

We are not solicitors here. Even if we were, we would have not been able to tell you why these applications take longer. No one can tell you why. Please wait to hear back as each application has unique conditions and its own timeframe
