Hi there,

I (main applicant) got my ILR in OCT 2020 through Tier 2 general route.
My wife and son are due for ILR in April 2021. They are still living on my Tier 2 dependent visa.
and will be until April when we apply ILR for them. I have 2 questions:

1. I am no longer in permanent job as I am going for contracting from March. Will my employment situation factor in their application?
2. what are the docs required for my dependents for Set(M) application?

1. No issue.

2. They cannot apply on form SET M, they don't hold qualifying visa for this and if you do, it will be refused. They MUST apply on form SET O if they are PBS dependents

Thanks for the response. But my wife doesn't work anymore and isn't that a mandatory requirement for SET O ?

If so, there is NO requirment for a PBS dependent to work.

It is a requirement for the MAIN tier 2 general visa holder only.

Sorry, one more question, should my depends also have completed 4 years and 11 months to be eligible for ILR ?

They can apply for ILR no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the initial visa issue date
