Hi all,

I am due to apply for ILR, I currently hold a Tier 2 dependent visa. My partner has since transitioned from Tier 2 to full naturalization as British Citizen. I wanted to find out which route should I use to apply for ILR as my partner is no longer a Tier 2 dependent and I have not served enough time for the family or spousal route ( Set (M) or Set (O) or should I apply to extend current leave to remain?

Arrived on Tier 2 on June 2016 now current visa Expires in May 2021.

Your urgent assistance on the matter is greatly appreciated.

Set O for ILR if you have 5 years as a PBS dependent.

I have not seen any guidance documents and the checklist has no info relating to financial proof etc?

There is NO financial requirment for tier 2 dependents applying for ilr.
