Hi,

I am going to apply for my ILR through Tier 1(Ent) route. I have four full time employees to cover 12 months of job. All of them are Business Develoment Manager.
So, I'll answer in this way.
Job title: Business Development manager
Date the job was created: 15 July 2019
Employee 1: 15 July 2019 to 17 March 2020
Employee 2: 1 August 2020 to Date

Job title: Business Development manager
Date the job was created: 15 November 2019
Employee 1: 15 November 2019 to 29 February 2020
Employee 2: 1 July 2020 to Date

Is this the right way to answer?

You need 2 JOBS that existed for 12 months EACH not employees, AFTER extension unless you fall under the exception rule.

Dear Cullinan,

Thank you very much for your reply. I have two jobs that existed for 12 months (as I mentioned before) but both with same job title (Business Development Manager).

When I was filling uo Set (O) form it asked Job title, date job was created and employee start and end date. My confusion is should I answer seperately as I mentioned before or should I answer under one Job Title.

Like Job Title: Business Development Manager
Date the job was created: 15 July 2019
Employee 1
Employee 2
Employee 3
Employee 4

It is two separate roles in your business. The title is irrelevant. You can have two roles with the same title

Dear Zimba,

Thank you very much for your reply. So technically both are right way to fill up the form.

Job title: Business Development manager
Date the job was created: 15 July 2019
Employee 1: 15 July 2019 to 17 March 2020
Employee 2: 1 August 2020 to Date

Job title: Business Development manager
Date the job was created: 15 November 2019
Employee 3: 15 November 2019 to 29 February 2020
Employee 4: 1 July 2020 to Date

or
Job title: Business Development manager
Date the job was created: 15 July 2019
Employee 1
Employee 2
Employee 3
Employee 4

Tier (1) to ILR interview invitation

Hi,

I submitted ILR Set (O) application and after submission Home office asked me to provide full 2 years business bank statements after extension, which I provided already. Now they asked me to attend an interview. My first question is:

1. What they will ask in an interview? (I mean type of typical questions)

I also completed 10 years in Uk and the letter mentioned I can vary my application if I like.

2. Can I vary my application to ILR SET (LR)?
3. If I vary my application do I have to pay Home office fees again?
4. If I vary my application to SET (LR), does previous application SET (O) make any impact on new application?
5. What is the process to vary an application?

Thank you very much in advance.

1) If you search the forum there are MANY topics on interview questions.

2) If the CW has given you an option to vary to SET(LR) and you meet the requirements, yes you can.

3) Yes, you will start the SET(LR) form. It will ask you if you have any pending applications with HO. You will mention your existing application there. Add a cover letter and explain. Let the CW know also. You will need to pay and submit documents and biometrics again also.
You should get refund for your pending application in due course then.

4-5) See 3 above.

GOod advice

I believe u did not meet 2 year job requirement, your this ilr may lead of extension which I believe u don’t want as u mentioned above that u qualify for long residency

If u given chance to vary to LR u should consider varying to LR

Dear Moderator,

My ILR application is refused under five year route set (o). Refused based on paragraph 245DF. I can apply for admin review within 14 days.
I also completed 10 years in UK. All my applications were on time.
If I apply for admin review now and if it refused, do I become overstayer ie my 3C will end? Does Home office consider my SET LR if my 3C end?
If I apply for SET LR now based on 10 years within 14 days (without admin review) does my 3C continue or it end?

I am confused, few people say I can use 14 days once or other say after refusal the 3C end.

Thank you very much in advance.
