letter of absences from employer

Hey guys, sorry if this question has already been asked.
I'm applying for my ILR via the 5 year route.
My employer has provided me with a standard letter detailing my salary, SOC code and that I'm required to work for them for the foreseeable future.
They are not willing to provide me with a letter about my annual leave ( I haven't had any work related absences outside the country) or to say that I have not exceeded my annual holiday entitlement. My employer said that the standard letter is only required by the HO.
So as part of my application, do I actually need to provide the letter about my annual leave or to show that the days I've travelled abroad was on my days off/ approved annual leave?
I'm confused about what to do. what are your experiences?
