UK ILR English language requirements For Expired IELTS Score

Hi
Immigration history:
1) Came to the UK in 2016 on a Tier 2 General. IELTS scores were used to fulfill English language requirements. The CEFR level of the score was C1. The IELTS test was taken on 12-12-2015. At the time of the entry visa, the IELTS score was valid and the visa was granted successfully.
2) Change in sponsorship in 2017
3) Extended visa in 2020
4) Change sponsorship in June 2021
5) In August 2021, I am now eligible for ILR
Question:
As we know for ILR I have to provide either a UKNARIC certificate or an English assessment score such as IELTS.
As you know from my immigration history, I do have an expired IELTS certificate which has been used in the past for the entry visa. According to the docs I have found on the UK gov site I should be able to use an expired IELTS scored if the same scorecard has been used for a previous successful application
Below are the links and documentation I have found so far to validate this:
1) https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... d-evidence
Search for 32D section
2) https://www.gov.uk/english-language/app ... ifications
3) https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... gov-uk.pdf
Search for :
Applicants who already have a test certificate or result
I have verified that the test center is still on the approved list given by the UK gov.
I am looking for a piece of advice and want to confirm with those who have had similar cases in the past.
Can someone please help me understand if my expired IELTS will work here or shall I go for the NARIC test?
