Hello,
I came to UK on 5 Oct 2011 taking 28 days into account. I will be able to apply for ILR on 9th Sept.

I have completed life in the UK, have english degree from USA and also the days I spent outside are only like 30 in whole 10 years. I did however spent some time in North Ireland and been to Ireland (but it doesn't show on my passport).

I have question regarding if I can start filling the application now. I just have to get the biometric after 9th?
Is there anything I am missing?

Thank you

Hello,

I just have few question regarding application form.
  • Do you have any Home Office reference numbers?
(I am not sure so I just put no)
  • How long have you lived in the UK?
9 years, 11 months (is that correct?)
In document it only asked for
  • The passport issued
  • Current Biometric Residence Permit
  • All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or remain in the UK
What about English requirement I do have a degree should I just send it anyway?

Also what about the declaration form do I have to scan it or what?

Any other tips you would like to give me?

Thank you

Leave home office reference empty. 9 years and 11 months answer is fine. You need to submit a scan of your UK degree as well as the declaration

IRL (LR) 10 years 28 Days confusion

Hello,

Sorry if it seems bit stupid, a friend of mine just confused me about this.

I just have bit of confusion regarding 28 days if I apply for fast track. For example I complete my 10 years on 5 Oct. So if I apply on 9th Sep using Fast track. The Website says the decision comes over 5 days after biometric so lets say I do my biometrics on 12 Sep.
So does that mean I will be refused because my 10 years complete on 5 Oct?
