Super Priority / Priority

Hello,

Please can you assist with the following query:

I submitted my SET (M) application on Saturday 25 Sep at 14:00.
There was no super priority/ priority service option so I paid the standard £2400 fee and moved on.
I have been on the phone for most of today with UKVCAS and UKVI to book a super priority service with no help.
I only noticed now that the super priority dates pop up at 1am.
My BPR expires on 31 Oct 2021.
My UKVCAS appointment is on 6 Oct 2021 and I have not submitted any documents as yet.

Should I cancel my current application and wait for a super priority/priority service to become available at 1am?
Is it possible to cancel for this reason.

I am stressed at the idea of waiting for so long.

Thank you very much for your time

You can cancel and reapply before your biometric appointment. You don't need a reason. Bear in mind that your refund can take a few weeks.

There is also no guarantee that you will get the super priority service option.

Thank you so very much!!!

Can I attend the same biometric appointment? Or do I need to reschedule that alligning to the new application number?

Its still worth a try though to get the priority/ super priority.

Does the home office view a cancellation as a negative point against you?

You will likely need to schedule a new appointment with the new application reference as you will be directed to UKCVAS once you submit again.

Thanks CR001!

I cancelled the application and the UKVCAS appointment on Monday.
However, if I use the link to my old application, it still exists.

How long do I have to wait to make a new application?

I read on another post to state that you do not have any applications awaiting decision when making the new application. But does the old application cause any new prorblems.
