OVER 180DAYS ABSENCE FOR TIER 1 CHILD DEPENDANTS

Good evening All,
I saw the following on the T1 Dependants Guidance:
"Dependant children are not subject to limits on absences"
and I am planning to apply for my children's ILR next month. Does this mean that their being outside of the UK for longer than 180days last year (due to covid-19 travel restrictions and flight stoppage) does not matter?
Kindly help clarify.
Thank you.

There are no absence restrictions for children. It does not matter.

Hi All,
I now have my Tier 1 ILR and I am now applying for my childrens' ILR
My children's visa issue date is 27/11/2016
Expiry of their Extension visa is 19/11/2021
Can I submit their application form today 31/10/2021 in line with the guidance that says application can be submitted 28days before the applicant has stayed for 5years? Or is it too early?
Please assist with the answer.
Thank you All.

It does not matter. The day of decision is what matters
