Approval letter for ILR

Kindly please, could I double check that for ILR do we normally receive the approval descion by email or letter because I have received it by email only no letter arrived yet?

No letter is issued

May I know when did you apply for ILR?? Was it's standard service or priority??

I applied for ILR on 27th September, super priority service, got approval email next day
