ILR Application requirements for Unmarried Partner 5 year route

Hi everyone! I am a US citizen applying for ILR on the 5 year route sponsored by my unmarried partner who is a British citizen. All of you on this forum have been so helpful in the past, so I'm hoping you might be able to help me now.

I am applying for ILR Set M, and I am pretty clear on the financial requirements because I've been able to find the guidance. However, I wanted to double check that the other requirements are the same as they've been for our previous applications on the unmarried partner route because I'm having trouble finding the guidance for this aspect.
Am I correct in thinking that the main difference between the two applications is that I will need to show that I have passed the Life in the UK test?
And the other evidence needed will be as before - providing evidence spanning the past 2.5 years to show that we have lived together (in the form of proof of address). Am I missing any other aspects (besides the English language requirement which I've met through being a native English speaker)?
I was also curious - am I able to start the application online now and fill it out over the next few weeks, or will I need to be sure to complete it all at once? If the former, will this affect the date of application?

I'm worried that I am missing something, so I would be so grateful for any advice! Thanks so much! :D

You ain't missing nothing :D. Get the LIUK sorted.
The application can be started now, ensure you log in to the application not exceeding 6wks if I recall rightly so the account does not get deleted. The date you submit and pay is taken as your date of application.
Cohabitation evidence covers preceeding 2years to the application.
