Hi,

Both me and my husband have ILR, we are applying for my son's ILR who is 5 year old and born in the UK.
I, mother is the main sponsor and my husband is the second sponsor for my son's application.
I have couple of questions:
1. PART 1: Consent for the Home Office to verify application information - Who needs to sign here
2. PART 2: Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information - Who needs to sign here
3. PART 3: Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party sponsor - Who needs to sign here
4. And does each parent needs to sign Declaration for Consent to Home Office separately.

Any reason you are applying for ILR rather than registering the child as British, which is an entitlement for a UK born child?

Thanks for your reply, yes I am aware of that entitlement but want to go for ILR only for my son for now so that we just want all of us to be on the same status.

Could you please help on the questions regarding forms of Declaration for Consent to Home office? Thanks in advance.

Only part one is signed by a parent, on behalf of the child. Ignore other parts

They don't apply. Part 2 is for people who share evidence with the applicant and part 3 is when the application requires financial support from a third party. Both of these are not relevant here

Thanks for replying and constantly providing the support.

Let me CLEARLY re-iterate the things which I have entered while filling the online application form for my sons ILR which will help you to understand my case and then the questions I have:

Scenario as explained below:

Both mother and father have ILR already
Sponsor for this application: filled in ‘Mothers name’
Chosen the option: C) I am the parent or legal guardian of the applicant who is aged under 18 and completing and submitting the form on their behalf
"Are you relying on evidence from someone else to prove your financial circumstances?" - Selected Yes for this ( Reason for entering Yes was we understood it as my husband is also providing financial support to our child)

Then I ticked the checkbox saying “ I understand that by ticking this check box I am giving consent to verification checks. I will provide a declaration signed by each person who is providing evidence to prove my financial circumstances”


QUESTIONS I HAVE:

1. Did I do a mistake by filling in YES for the question "Are you relying on evidence from someone else to prove your financial circumstances?"
a. If this is a mistake then how can I rectify this , where and who needs to sign in consent form (question 2 below)
b. If this is not a mistake then ‘where and who needs to sign’ in consent form ( refer to question 2 below)


2. Based on my filled information in the application form as above, now what should I fill in Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of the consent form.

I am really so much worried now and will this affect my child's application, will the application be rejected/refused due to this mistake ?

Worst case, Should or Can I withdraw the application and fill it again and do we get full refund in this case as we have submitted the application form, done the payment and booked an appointment.

Answers on the form are not an issue. Just sign part 1. SET(F) has no financial requirement

So both me and my husband will just fill Part 1 in separate forms and leave Part 2 and Part 3 as blank in both the forms.
