Hi,
My sister will be applying for her ILR in Feb 2022 (based on completing 5 years on Tier 2 - Doctor). Three of her kids are under 18 but they came to UK in Aug 2018, so they will have completed only 3 and half years by Feb 2022. Can they apply for their ILR at the same time as my sister, as they are dependent to my sister? Or do they have get extension as Tier 2 dependent in order to complete their 5 years before applying for their ILRs?

Her Husband is Tier 2 dependent and he got visa in July 2018 as well. So he will be extending his visa as Tier 2 dependent, while my sister will be applying for her ILR.

Your children will have to extend their visa with your spouse.

PBS dependent children qualify for ilr when your spouse does.

Got it. So, we have to wait till Aug 2023 until my brother-in-law is eligible for ILR, and only then their under 18 kids will be able to apply for ILR.

Further to this, my brother-in-laws lives in Pakistan mostly (as he is a Doctor as well and has a good job in Pakistan), so for being out of UK most of the year, he might not be eligible for ILR in Aug 2023. So in that case, would my sister's under 18 will be able for their ILR based on my sister (she will be British Citizen by then anyways)?

My sister is on Tier 2 visa. Her visa was granted on 14th March 2017 but the she came to UK on 29th March 2017. So can she apply for ILR on 15th Feb (as the visa start date is 14th March)? I understand its just 2 weeks difference, but as she is switching job, so two weeks are quite critical for her.
