Hi all,

We are in the process of applying for ILR(M) for my wife. I receive PIP for chronic conditions.

One of the questions asks, “Do you or your partner have any physical or mental conditions which require at home personal care or medical assistance?”

UKVI are also asking for a hospital Consultant or Specialist Registrar letter as evidence. The most recent letter I have is from a GP Registrar from November 2019 when I was discharged from the hospital clinic. We since manage my symptoms independently.

Please advise, is it okay to answer “No” to this question as there are no social care arrangements etc. or is it better to answer “Yes” and provide the November 2019 letter?

I am a British citizen and long term sick and I too am in the same boat. I haven't seen a consultant for over 10 years. I do see my local GP very rarely just to update pain medication etc.
Did you answer no to that question and do you have any updates.
Should I answer no but leave a footnote somewhere explaining I do have long term disabilities but do not receive any care from outside sources. Just my long suffering wife lol.
This question seems to be designed to cause panic.
They had this question on the FLR 2.5 years ago also but did not request consultants letters etc. On that occasion I answered yes. If I say no this time will that affect my partners application.
