Hello,

My wife is currently on Skilled worker visa and her ILR is due Dec-2023. We have query around 180 days gap, We are planning to visit India for 4 months this month end (2 months of leave and 2 months work from India). Will there be any issues while applying ILR next year, I am on PBS dependant visa and also planning to work from India for 4 months. Will there be any impact on me? Both our employers are aware and happy for us to work from India but they are not aware of ILR process or implications.

Your wife's employer will need to issue a letter saying the absence is authorised by them when she applies for ILR.

There is no requirement to provide such document for you as a dependant

Note that being aboard may still count towards the rolling 180 days per twelve months absence limits, unless exempted.
