Hi All

I am applying for My Wife ILR she is on PBS Dependant Visa(I already got my ILR in 2019). Two quick questions :

1. For her absences from the UK during last 5 years does she require any letter from her or my employer ?
2. Her current passport is expiring in 5 months when we will be submitting the application, is there a minimum passport validity required for ILR application or just it need to be valid at the time of application ?

3. Any letter from employer/ financial documents payslips,bank statements etc required from my side ?

1. No. She only has to declare absence for a visa extension granted on or after 11th January 2018 in the form. Any absence before this date are irrelevant.

Can I please clarify for below point:

Any absence before this date are irrelevant - She came to UK in Dec 2016 (got her PBS Dependant extension in 2019, at the time I got my ILR), so while filling her absences for ILR application what I understood we need to give the history of absences for entire 5 year duration, is this not correct ?

No, only absence from 2019 when she got her last extension have to be declared.

And does the 180 day rule still applies for her in any 1 year period ?

Yes, any 12 month period.
