Hi All,

Happy New Year.
Couple of questions here. My main question (#3) is discussed in many threads, but still need further clarification.

I am applying for ILR as a Tier-2 General dependent. My wife is currently ILR holder.
#1. I have chosen SET(O) application form. Please correct me if it is wrong.

#2. Select a category in which you are applying for
indefinite leave to remain

-- Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson
dependant

#3. Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth

-- I born and lived in India until 2008. after that, I traveled to many countries for work related and tourism.

Saudi -- 18 months - work
US -- 3 months (twice) - work
Singapore - 6 months - work
Malaysia - 5 days - tourism
Germany - 15 months - work
France - 5 days - tourism
Netherlands - 5 days - tourism
Finally UK - 5 years -- as Tier 2 General dependent.

My understanding is - we can exclude tourism.
However, except UK - from all countries, I went back to India after my official work is completed.

How should i fill in countries lived in?
India ---> from birth to until i move UK or from birth to 2008?

example:
India -- 15-Mar-1985 to 2-Apr-2008
Saudi -- 2-Apr-2008 to 15-Sep-2009
India -- 16-Sep-2009 to 12-Jan-2010
US -- 13-Jan-201- to 10-Apr-2010
India -- 11-Apr-2010 to 02-Feb-2013
US -- 03-Feb-2013 to 30-May-2013
India -- 01-Jun-2013 to 15-Dec-2013
Singapore -- 15-Dec-2013 to 10-Jun-2014
India --
Germany --
India --
UK --

or (from birth to until i move UK)

India -- 15-Mar-1985 to 15-Dec-2016

Please correct me on this.

Regards,
Kumar

It says LIVED and worked in, not visited as tourist. Only fill in the countries you LIVED in.

No. This is not an important question at all. Just add the name of the countries

Hi Zimba,

Actually I applied my ILR in SET(M) 4 months ago, however I got response from UKVI saying that, I should have applied in SET(O) and they said that, they will refund money after admin fee. Now I am doing a fresh application.

Now my question is -- will they consider time line for this application from zero or will they process immediately.

Also there is question in application -- Do you currently have an application with the Home Office for leave to remain for which you have not yet received a decision?

Do i need to mention yes and provide my old application number? Will this give any priority to process my application?

Regards,
Kumar
