ILR spouse

A quick question please.

I had ILR after 5 yr of tier 2 general visa then became British Citizen last year.
My wife came to the UK later than me and she is on tier 2 dependent visa.
She is eligible for ILR next month as she has completed 5 yr on tier 2 dependent visa.

My understanding is she needs to "Apply as a partner (dependant on a work visa)" option although I am now a British Citizen.

Many thanks
PW

Many thanks CR001 for your reply.

I have started filling out the form and got another question.

The question on the form: Does the period of stay on which this application was based include any leave granted since 11 January 2018?

Does the "leave granted" mean extension of tier 2 dependent visa (or any visa category in theory) or leave related to work?

Thanks
PW

any visa or visa extension granted after this date requires absence after this visa issue date to be declared.

As you have not stated all the visa issues and expiry dates, I can't comment if relevant to you or not.

Thank you CR001.

Yes she has most recent visa/ BRP issued in July 2019 and expires June 2022.
So it is relevant I presume?

What about the absences before that date: not require to declare at all?

Thanks
PW

She declares any absence from the UK since July 2019.

Any absence before that while on a visa issued before January 2018 is irrelevant.
