Hello every one.
My wife has her second spouse visa expiring in april 2022. She is planning to apply for ILR, based on been my wife ( I have BRP) , living in the uk ( moved November 2016), both of us full time workers.
She passed the English test B1 in august 2019, month before applying for second visa.
Can same test be used for ILR? It’s over 2 years now , but was passed in recognised test centre.
Thanks

Hello
I have received settled status and BRP in January 2016, was previously married to EU national.
I got married overseas in March 2016, my wife obtained spouse visa in November 2016.
She moved to the UK in November 2016, and we are living together in our house (mortgage I pay for).
In September 2019 she received her visa ( applied from the uk) till April 2022.
Now it’s years she has been living in the UK.
Have couple of questions , and is one of you be kind to answer them.
1. Does she need to apply for ILR now in order to get naturalisation in the future? If yes , when can she (now or 28 days before her visa expires) apply?
2. Does she need Live in the UK test at this stage( she has English test from previous application)?
3. In terms of supporting documents it’s says that we need evidence of monthly housing cost?I pay mortgage on our house and bills from my bank account (not joined)?
4. 6 letters to prove living together for the past 2.5 years. Is it 6 letters each or combined? Is it spread over the 2.5 years time?
5. What’s the current cost for it?
6. Is fast track service and what’s the cost ? ( are their really doing in on time currently)
Many thanks

1. She is already eligible for ILR. Her visa expiry is irrelevant
2. All ILR applicants must pass the life in the UK test
3. You need evidence of finances. Here is the whole guide:
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... rement.pdf
4. Cohabitation documents are not specific. The rule of thumb is you should provide 6 pieces of evidence from any point in the last two years.
5. See visa fees post on pinned on top of the forum
6. Priority service is available.
