ILR Application (entry date vs ILR issuance date) and Visa priority service

Hi there,
Thought I’ve gone through various threads posted here already which were very helpful, thank you. I’ve 2 questions if you can please answer (1 question is more of reassurance).
1.I came to the UK as a student (Tier 4) but then secured a job (Tier 2). I’m applying for my ILR on the basis of 5 years Tier visa. In my ILR application, what should I put as my arrival date, my first time entering to the UK which was on Tier 4 or the date when my Tier 2 visa was issued in 2016..?
2. This question is more of a reassurance. I am unable to find priority service option on my ILR application, though I’ve emailed the home office on the email provided on their website but no reply as yet. I read on this forum that there is no fixed time/date to know when the priority service will be available again but I’m wondering if any of you have a definite answer to that..? Or is there any way to work around it ..?
Will be grateful if you can please answer my above questions.
Thank you and take care

Many thanks for your prompt reply, much appreciated!
Re: priority service availability, I understand there is no set time for it. But if it becomes available, will it appear on my application which I’ve filled already or shall I fill in my application from scratch to reach to that page of payment..
Thank you once again!

From the link provided by Zimba, it's written "look". It does not appear automatically, you are the one to actively check around the time that others reported seeing it available.
Super Priority ILR Application yet exceptionally complex issues letter

Hi there,
For the context, I came to the UK on Tier 4 student visa but I have applied my ILR application on the basis of my 5 years Tier 2 general visa with the same employer. I have taken the super priority route and paid £3500 to get a quick results within 24 hours. But I have received a letter stating:
'Although we would normally decide your application within 24 hours from the
date it was submitted, unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case.
This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we
require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision.
We expect to make a decision on your application by 30 April 2022'
Has anyone else have faced this on super priority application..? What could it mean..?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

There is no guarantee regarding the priority service. If they request more documents or tell you that your application is complex, then your application will not be processed within the priority timeframes. We cannot tell you how long this may take. Wait to hear back as they have given you a deadline
You also will not get a refund regarding the priority service as they have now informed you that a priority decision is not possible

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.
But in your experience, is it likely to be a negative decision on my application when I receive it or receiving these type of letters is normal? In other cases when people have received these letter do they receive a positive outcome then or not?
Thank you

Applicants often receive these communications from UKVI and this is normal. If your application is not straightforward, then UKVI will need more time to make a decision. This does not necessarily mean it is negative. This often means they may need to cross-check things with other government departments and that takes time
