concern on submitted ILR application

Dear All,

I have submitted my wife's ILR ( Set m ) application on 13th Feb ( Priority Service) and have a biometric on 7th March, I have a few queries if you can kind enough to shed some light.

1- I have only included my main employment income as it does meet the criteria of £18,600, I believe there is no issue for the home office how I meet the ends with just this salary?

2-I have made an error on the job title, my employer letter shows 'senior accountant', but on the form, I only mentioned 'accountant' and also added s by mistake so it is 'accountants' on the form, I have asked my boss to change it to the accountant on a letter, should I add covering letter saying I added s to accountants by mistake? or should I leave it?

3- My last payslip was 26th Jan, application was submitted on 13th Feb, I don't need to include the Feb payslip even if biometric on 7th March?

4- Evidence of housing costs- since we have a mortgage, I have included the land registry and council tax, to evidence the cost, should I add a statement again showing money going out to mortgage? I am just reluctant to add a mortgage statement as it shows the balance etc.

5- Last but not least, my wife had 3 points and a fixed penalty on Sep 21 for speed, I have included it under heading ' A caution, warning, reprimand or other out of court penalty, is that fine and will not impact her ILR?

Thank you in advance!

1. Ok
2. OK
3. It is based on application submission date NOT the biometrics dare
4. No need
5. Fixed points and speeding do not need to be declared. No effect

Thank you for your reply, just need a little clarity, please.

On point 1, when you say Ok, does it mean they are not looking at the financial side and mainly looking at meeting salary criteria?

On point 2 when you say Ok, it means I don't need to include a cover letter to explain spelling mistakes in the Job title, or should I? and on point 4, I don't even need to add a bank statement showing mortgage payment and council tax and land registry is enough?

Hi,

I have biometric scheduled for 7th March, the documents are ready and uploaded, ideally when should I click submit? will it make difference if I do now or do in 2 weeks or so?

I am quite worried now that since I have included speeding fine and points under ' A caution, warning, reprimand or other out of court penalty, it may wrong impact? I have also submitted the documents online, should I and can I still add covering letter explaining it in more detail that it was speeding ticket and fixed penalty and i have included it by mistake?

Thank you, I have uploaded the cover letter, should I remove it or submit it? below is what I have included in the cover letter.
Subject: Disclosure under Convictions and other penalties.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note that I have included the speeding fixed penalty notice under the heading ‘ A caution, Warning, reprimand or other out-of-court penalty under the section of ‘Convictions and other penalties’ on the application form I submitted on 13th February 2022.

The speeding ticket was a fixed penalty notice of £100 and 3 points on my driving license I received on 24th September 2021 for SP30.

I am not sure if it was supposed to be included under this section or was not required to be disclosed.

Please disregard it if it is not relevant.

I apologise for any inconvenience it may cause.

Dear Zimba, I really appreciate your help and time you have given to answer my query, last question before I have appointment on Monday.
I scanned the stamped pages of passport and uploaded, I searched the board and it says scan empty pages as well? on one post I saw you mentioned don't scan empty pages, I don't have access to scanner now as well, can you please advice if I should upload as appointment is in less then 48 hours or its fine?

As mentioned I uploaded the covering letter explaning the traffic offence, it just gives me peace of mind so I thought to do it, however how can I submit it as I uploaded it after submitting previous documents?

Do not scan empty pages. As far as I know, if you submit your documents then you cannot add more evidence. I am not familiar with forms/UKVCAS as this changes all the time

What you have scanned and uploaded is OK. There is no information to be obtained from blank pages of your passport. You won't be penalised for sending all pages though to what end?
