ILR Set(O) 28 days

I have a skilled worker for 5 years, and wish to apply ILR this year. The time of my first enter the UK is few days earlier than my working contract started. Which date should I use to count the "28 days prior to eligibility".

And for the ILR do I need a CoS number for it? or only the sponsor licence number is enough?

Many thanks!

The first visa issue/approval date is used. COS is ONLY needed for a new skilled worker visa NOT the ILR
