LIUK issue for spouse IRL

Hi, can anyone help me with my wife's Indefinite leave to remain application? We are currently about to submit our application but unfortunately, she has not yet passed the Life in the UK test having failed last week. Without passing the test before applying I understand she will be rejected. Therefore have looked to book another test but there are non-available for over a month. The problem arises as her visa will now run out before she is able to retake the test and we do not want her to become an overstayer.

Does anyone have any advice on how to best proceed?

Thanks

Suggest to check test availability at a centre which may not be the nearest to where you live.

Note that after a failed test one has to wait min. 7 days before taking a new test.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately, it seems that there are no tests available at Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and Blackburn for the next month.

Also now a bit concerned if my wife is unable to pass the test before her visa expires and there doesn't seem to be a way to stop her from becoming an overstayer if she is unable to pass the test in time.

If she cannot pass the test, extend her spouse visa for a further 2.5 years.

She could have done the liuk test at any time in the last 5 years, the test doesn't expire.
