Hi I came to the UK on 12th April 2013 on Tier 4 student visa for PhD, then continued to stay in the UK and got Tier 2 Visa (BRP start date 1 April 2017), but my employment started on 6th April 2017 (according to my offer start date). I am applying ILR on a 5 year route. I have following questions:
1. When will I start counting 5 years -28 days period -from 1st Apr or 6th Apr?
2. What shall I write in the application for when I entered the UK? Should it be 12 Apr 2013, 1st Apr 2017 or 6th Apr 2017?
3. I have my individual bank account and will show it for the salary detail. Until last year, I was living with my brother and he was paying council tax for the house we were living. Do I need to take his signature in the consent form that Home office could verify his financial detail as well. There are 3 forms, one is my consent, 2nd is the other individual consent and the third is third party consent. I am not sure if I need to only sign form 1. Please help.

1. 1 April
2. 12 Apr 2013
3. Your brother paying council tax is irrelevant. You only need to sign form 1.

Sorry, I filled the ILR application through 5 year route, but no where it has asked when my employment began (it was on 6th Apr 2017). How will they know if I counted the time correctly? I filled in the date of entry in UK as 12 Apr 2013. Will it create a confusion for them? I am bit worried.

The date of your employment commencement is irrelevant. ILR qualifying period is not based on when you started your job

Sorry, but for a 5 year route, it is relevant when my tier 2 visa started. The application no where asks this date. Please suggest if I missed something in the application?

UKVI has all your immigration details. They do not use your answers to make a decision, they rely on their own systems. You do not need to tell them when they issued a visa to you

Sorry I think it should be a separate link to my next question, but I am new here not sure how to do that.
I have submitted my SET (O) application, got an appointment for 1st Apr. It gives an an option to cancel it but not reschedule it. If I got an earlier and nearer one, I would want to reschedule it. Kindly suggest how can I do that?

You cannot reschedule it without cancelling the current appointment
