submitting online ILR application without LIUK

Hi Everyone,

I have just registered to the site as I need some urgent advise.

I am in the UK and I am about to apply for ILR on the 5 year partner route.
However, my previous leave to remain expires on the 10th April and my LIUK test is booked for the 11th April. ( It is a long story why I delayed it so much, partly my misunderstanding the requirements, partly my newborn baby's constant needs etc I couldn't prepare for the exam in a timely manner )

In order to avoid Overstaying my visa, I will go on with my application without the LIUK test reference. I am planning to add my reference number on a Cover Letter, when I am submitting the documents.

My question is ; on the application questions, it asks if I passed the test. If I answer No, I am afraid they may refuse the application even before checking my documents... ?
If I answer Yes, I am lying ?
I will highly appreciate comments.

Decision will be made after checking all details. So I think you can answer No and add a cover letter later.

I took the risk and replied Yes. Because ;

- When I answered No, it gave a warning that I can't apply without the LIUK
- When I answered Yes, it asked for the unique reference number, which I left empty and hopefully when I pass the test tomorrow, I will include it on the cover letter.

The system didn't allow me to book an appointment for documents, and I will be waiting to hear UKVCAS. I am hoping that because I applied and paid before my BRP Expiry date, I am not overstaying now for not booking an appointment. UKVCAS email says that they assure my settlement status is not impacted by this wait.

My BRP expires today and I submitted the online application without appointment last night.

The email gave you assurance of it being an in time application. Sort out the LIUK and you will be alright.
