Hi,
I am applying my wife’s and my Daughter’s ILR Set M and I have a question about Financial Requirements.
I have 24 hours contract but working full time (average 50 hours/month) from last 6 months and my last 6 months Salary is about £13K but before 6 month I was working part time and also from this month april the new company took over my site so the my employer changed as well.
My wife is also working from last 5 months and her total income is about £5K for 5 months.
So my question is because we need to send 6 months pay-slips only and will My income will be considered 26K for 12 months and does my income meets the requirements or we have to add my wife’s income as well. If yes then should we wait for my wife’s 6th pay slip or we can send 5 months pay slips.
Thanks

The guide says the following on non-salaried employment like yours under category A:
Where the person is in non-salaried employment – the level of gross annual
employment income relied upon in the application will be the annual equivalent of the
person’s average gross monthly income from non-salaried employment in the 6
months prior to the date of application (where that employment was held throughout
that period).

To calculate this annualised average for non-salaried employment in Category A the
following calculation should be used:

(Total gross income from employment held throughout the 6-month period, divided
by 6) multiplied by 12 = Income from non-salaried employment that can be counted
towards the financial requirement.
So 13,000 ÷ 6 x 12 = £26,000 so you do not on your own meet the requirements under category A. As your wife has not worked for more than 6 months, she cannot combine her salary with yours under category A. So you both instead must apply under category B and combine your salaries to meet the requirements

Thanks for your reply.

The application form says if you employed for 6 months with you current employer then we needs to send 6 months Payslips but if you employed less than 6 months with you current employer then it asks to send last 12 month pay slips in Mandatory Document.
Because my employer has changed from this month 1st april 2022 so it means I am employed less than 6 month with my current employer.
So my last 12 months gross salary is about £19K and my wife is started working 5 months ago and we have her 5 pays slips which combines income of £5K and by end of this month we will get 6th pay slip and her income will be about 6K.
So now the question is…
1) 12 month pay slips only applies to me
2) Can I add my wife’s 5 months income and send 5 payslips which will make our combined income £24K or it should be minimum 6 months employment or 12 month Employment.
If you can clarify this confusion that will be great.

I already provided you with the guide. Read the guide and you find all you need under category B. You need to follow the guide not the form
