ILR - Continuous residence Tier-5 + Ancestry

Hi,

I moved to the UK from Australia more than 2 years ago, arriving in February of 2020. At the time I was in the final year of a Tier-5 Youth Mobility Visa, and had been here for 5 months in 2019. Due to the Pandemic, and an inability to return to Australia, I was allowed to transfer to an Ancestry Visa in January of 2021 (my Tier-5 visa expired in November of 2020) where I otherwise would have had to leave the country in order to apply.

My question is whether I might be able to include the year I spent here on the Tier-5 YM Visa as part of a future application for ILR, or whether the 5 years of continuous residence MUST be ONLY on the Ancestry Visa? I have not left the country for any meaningful amount of time since February of 2020.

Many thanks.

Unfortunately not.
From the immigration rules:

UKA 13.1. The applicant must have spent 5 years in the UK with permission on the UK Ancestry route as a person with UK Ancestry.
