Application: UK Indefinite Leave for someone who stayed in Guernsey

Hello,

I am new here and I want to ask a question about ILR, I browsed through the topics but I can't seem to find any thread that is relevant to my circumstances.

I arrived in the UK with a Tier 2 (General) visa last July 2019 and I have decided to transfer to Guernsey for work. I have been here since September 2020 with a long term 5 year working permit.

The thing is, I want to go back to UK for work and probably I'll be offered a Health care visa then.

although, I always have an option of going to Jersey for ILR but if it is possible to do it in the UK, I want to be in the UK.

The first question is, will my stay in UK when I first arrived and my stay in Guernsey would count towards ILR when I go back to UK?

second question is, if ever I will choose to go to Jersey instead for the purpose of getting my ILR - the moment I get it, am I allowed to go back to UK to obtain a job with that ILR and spend another year there and apply for citizenship using the ILR I obtained from Jersey?

Thank you so much

I hope someone can enlighten me, I am really having difficulty in deciding my next move because of this ILR. I have to move away from Guernsey as they will not take into account the 1 year that I have stayed in UK.
