Hi All,

I just need suggestion please, I was on tier 2 visa and have got nationality now, my wife is still on tier 2 dependent visa and in November 2022 her 5 years will be completed.

My questions are:

.Could she apply for ILR in November 2022 or does she needs another extention?

.Also if she can apply for ILR then which English test she needs to pass as she does not have any degree from UK?

. Does she need to pass life in UK test as well?

I will really appriciate for your suggestions.

She can apply within 28 days of completing her 5 years. She needs to prove her English at B1 level or above by sitting for a secure English test (SELT) and she must pass the LIUK test. SELT at B1: https://www.trinitycollege.com/qualific ... SE-grade-5

Thanks Zimba, her current visa will be valid till 31st march 2023 so can she apply any time before visa expires or does she has to apply within 28 days when 5 years completed?
