You can apply for ILR 60 months after you entered the UK…up to 28days before you complete the full 60 months, regardless of what your BRP expiry says.
Example: my wife entered the UK on 12/09/2017.
The earliest point which she can apply for ILR is 16/08/2022. This is 60months minus 28days from her entry to the UK.
Note: her BRP expires 30/05/2023.

You can apply SET M 28days before completing 60months in the UK counting from the date of entry into UK on initial spouse visa NOT what is on your extension BRP.
If you give details date of initial spouse visa/immigration and your date of entry, you can be assisted on the forum to calculate from when you will be eligible for SET M application.

Hi Good morning.
My Date of entry in UK 25 September 2017
applied FLR (M) 20 April 2020
FLR (M) approved November 2020
Current BRP expired June 2023
Hi the facebook group for ILR where i joined told me i can apply 28 days before my 60 days. but they do recommended to apply once i completed my 60 months. which is on 25 September 2022
they also said ‘anytime’ after my 60 months i can apply anytime for my ILR and can also be apply a day before my BRP expire but it is not recommended to leave that late. so therefore i decided i’ll just apply my ILR on January 2023.
but please correct me for this. Thank you.

Based on the dates provided above, your 60months completes on 25th September 2022, you are eligible to apply for ILR SET M from 28th August 2022 till the expiry date of your current leave as indicated on your BRP I.e. June 2023.
Note that the excess days (so to say) you have on BRP is due to how long it took for your FLRM to be approved as HO then grants you 30months from the date of approval.
You are eligible to apply SET M from 28th August 2022 till June 2023. It is now your decision when you want to apply.

Debt is a civil issue. It doesn’t affect ILR

You are making unreasonable assumptions and hence stressing for no reason. You simply need to provide some correspondence in the last two years. There is no specific evidence as per rules and ANY evidence can be used. Your previous visa validity is irrelevant
